Create GRAPHICS in WORDPRESS

Today we will see a plugin called ‘WP Charts and Graphs‘ and just released in the WordPress repository with which we will be able to create different graphics in a very simple way and display them in any post or page using a shortcode.

CREATE GRAPHS WITH WP CHARTS AND GRAPHS

Install and activate the plugin.

Now if we go to ‘settings – wp charts and graphs‘ we will see that we have a new tab. If we click on it will take us to a new screen where we can modify or create a new chart. In this new screen we will be able to choose between the different chart types, add the values of each section and change the title or name of each part of the chart. We will also be able to specify the maximum value to show in the chart.

Any changes we make will be displayed in real time on the same settings screen.

Once we have adjusted all the values to our needs and we have chosen the type of chart we want, if we click on the ‘generate’ button a shortcode will be created that we can paste in any page or post.

In the following video we will install and activate the plugin, we will create a chart and modify it to see the different options it gives us. Pie Chart, Polar Chart, Doughnut Chart, Radar Chart, Bar Chart and Line Chart. We will also see how to modify the parameters and the data contained in the charts.
