CREATE Event WEBSITE with WORDPRESS

Today we are going to create an event website with WordPress using the free version of the plugin All-in-One Event Calendar.

With this plugin we can create a General page with all the events, organize them by categories and tags and schedule them on the dates we want in a very simple way. Once installed and activated the plugin if we look at the left on our desktop we will see a new tab.

To create an event we simply click on ‘create event’. We can configure the event choosing the place, date, price, contact and a lot of other options, it even gives us the option to add a Google map.

We can create simple events or also schedule them to be repeated daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
We can also schedule it on specific dates and exclude specific dates as well, that is, if for example you have a performance scheduled every Friday night and there is a particular Friday that you can not perform that performance you can exclude it very easily from the desktop.

The plugin will automatically create a page called calendar which will show all scheduled events, where if you expand any event you can see more information and if you click on the tag ‘read more’ it will take you to its own page where you will see all the information of the event, you can buy tickets and see the location on Google Maps.

In the following video we will review all the options offered by the plugin, we will adjust it to our needs, we will create a simple event and then modify it to repeat every Saturday night. We will also exclude a specific Saturday.
