Today we are going to review a paid plugin to create a chat room in WordPress. This plugin has a very simple interface and you will adapt to it right away. This plugin is paid but you can sign up for free without entering any bank details and try it for 14 days.

Once the plugin is installed and activated we will see that on the left side of our desktop we will have a new tab. Click on it and it will take us to a screen where we will have to create our Flyzoo account for free and without the need to enter any bank details.
Once the registration is completed we will be sent a confirmation email where we will click on the confirmation link and then click on the link to create the API keys we need for the plugin to work.
Well, once we have already entered our API keys and saved the changes we can click on the ‘launch dashboard’ button and it will take us to a new screen outside our WordPress where we can customize our chat. We will be able to make public and private rooms, send private messages to other users, share files by private messaging with other users, use emoticons and change our status among many other things.
When creating a new room we can choose whether to make it private and only registered users can participate or create a public room where unregistered users can participate as guests. We will also have a small control panel where we can disconnect, change our status and modify the sounds in a very simple and intuitive way.

And that’s all, after testing several chat room plugins I choose this plugin for the ease and simplicity of its interface.
There are also several very good chat room plugins in the WordPress repository but almost all are paid and some are quite complicated to configure for people who do not have much knowledge.
