Today I’m going to show you a plugin that has just been released in the WordPress repository with which you are going to be able to adapt the comments of your website made with WordPress to the new Data Protection Act of May 25, 2018.
This plugin is called ‘webappdesign GDPR Comments’ and is free.
ADAPT WORDPRESS COMMENTS TO GDPR WITH WEBAPPDESIGN GDPR COMMENTS.
We install and activate the plugin.
Now we will see that we have a new tab on the left side of our WordPress desktop. If we click it will take us to a new screen where we can insert the data to be displayed in the comments section.
Accelerate the LOADING of your WEBSITE and Get Better Results
We will be able to add the person responsible for the data, purpose of the data, legitimization of the data, where the data will be stored, the rights that the user has over their data and finally a direct link to our privacy policy.
Once we have filled in all the necessary data we will click on ‘save config’. Now if we go to any post, we will see something like this just below the comment editor. (This plugin being new comes completely in English, so, in order to translate it we will have to download the plugin ‘loco translate’, create a new language ‘spanish’ and translate everything we want).
